PERRINE CRUAUD
ABOUT ME
Following my PhD in environmental microbiology at the French marine institute IFREMER and my postdoctoral position in molecular biology and bioinformatics at the French agronomic institute INRAE, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Laval University in Quebec, Canada. In January 2023, I joined the Ampère lab in Lyon to study microorganisms in the air.
My research interests are mainly focused on microbial ecology (Bacteria, Archaea, Eukaryota) in aquatic ecosystems with a special emphasis for trophic interactions and the role of microorganisms in the overall functioning of ecosystems. I am also interested in programming and developing bioinformatics tools and still curious to discover new bioinformatic alternatives.
